Tackling life’s challenges can be tricky and I understand it can be hard to talk to family and friends about relationships, loss, the past or how life hasn’t or isn’t working out how you hoped.
I offer a safe, supportive, nurturing, genuine space to talk openly about what is important to you without judgment. My integrative training means my modalities are Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Existential and provide a professional individualised talking therapy aimed at the needs of you, the client at your pace to support your journey.
About Me
My love and interest of people and the value I hold of relationships has led me to become a counsellor.
With 20 years of experience working in the public sector and my experience at Mind, I bring a supportive and nurturing approach to my practice, learning from each client interaction which has helped me develop into the counsellor and person I am today.
I am committed to professional ethics and best practices, as a member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), and I value every experience as an opportunity for growth, both for myself and those I serve.
What You Can Expect
I offer a free, 15–20-minute telephone consultation to answer any questions you have about counselling or the way I work. This gives us the opportunity get to know a little about each other.
In the first session we will discuss how we can work together, and I will answer any queries you have. This is to explore if we are a good fit and you can then decide if you wish to proceed with me.
It’s about finding a way to work together that suits you, at your pace, helping to develop and find your strength and resilience to make positive changes with the aim to be the best and happiest version of you.
Terms
I offer face to face sessions in Hertford, walk and talk, virtual and telephone. The price is £60 for a 50-minute session, usually weekly at the same time and place which we will agree together.
